Hi my name is Pearl. But
after a while, everyone calls me "Miss Pearl". I like that!
I was rescued by these
nice ladies in San Antonio along with my sister from Laredo. My original
family didn't like the two of us
much. My little sister was the runt
and well, I'm really cute!
The nice folks with Weimaraner Rescue of
Texas agreed to help us get healthy and find new homes with people who
will love us forever. My little sister has found her forever home,
and I am living with a great foster family. They always laugh and
smile when I play, but when they think I'm not looking, they look very
sad. I try my best to make them smile again. But now I know
why they look sad sometimes. And it makes me sad too.
They took me to someone called a cardiologist and he said I have a problem with my heart. Something about a valve in my heart didn't form properly when I was born. He said I need to have it fixed.

The Doctor said that if I don't have it fixed, I won't live very long. But he did say if I have the surgery pretty quickly, I'll be all fixed up and just fine! Then I can be adopted and find my furever family!
