Win a piece of art the public can't buy.

The George Rodrigue Estate makes Blue Dog prints available exclusively to nonprofits — with only one exception: the Washington Blue Dog, currently available to the public through 2027, after which it too will be restricted to the Foundation. Every other edition is, and has always been, nonprofit-only. This October, one of those rare prints benefits the Weimaraners in our care. Two ways to win

1st Place

George Rodrigue print, released posthumously by the Rodrigue Estate

The Estate of George Rodrigue created a proprietary ink to stamp on print editions originally designed by George Rodrigue and released by the Rodrigue Estate posthumously. These prints are made available exclusively to nonprofits — the winner will choose their print from a curated selection of editions.

2nd Place

Exclusive Rodrigue Estate book

An exclusive book from the George Rodrigue Estate — a collectible companion piece that puts the full legacy of the Blue Dog series in context, available through the same restricted channel as the prints themselves.

About the print

George Rodrigue was a Louisiana artist whose iconic Blue Dog series became one of the most recognizable bodies of work in American art. After his passing, the Rodrigue Estate continued to honor his legacy by releasing limited print editions designed by George himself.

Each posthumous edition is stamped with a proprietary ink created specifically by the Estate — a mark of authenticity that ties each print directly to the artist's original vision and the Estate's careful stewardship of his work.

These prints are not available through galleries, art dealers, or to the general public — made available exclusively to charitable organizations. The one exception is the Washington Blue Dog, currently available to the public through 2027, after which it too will only be available through the Foundation. Every other edition has always been, and remains, exclusively accessible through nonprofits like WRT — making each one genuinely rare and each raffle a singular opportunity.
