About the print
George Rodrigue was a Louisiana artist whose iconic Blue Dog series became one of the most recognizable bodies of work in American art. After his passing, the Rodrigue Estate continued to honor his legacy by releasing print editions designed by George himself.
Each posthumous edition is stamped with a proprietary ink created specifically by the Estate — a mark of authenticity that ties each print directly to the artist's original vision and the Estate's careful stewardship of his work.
These prints are not available for sale through galleries, art dealers, or to the general public. They are only available through the Foundation for charitable fundraising — making each one genuinely rare and each raffle a singular opportunity.

Weimaraner Rescue of Texas operates entirely on donations — no government funding, no grants, no paid staff. Every dollar from this raffle goes directly to the dogs currently in our care.
Full medical coverage
Every dog that comes into WRT receives complete veterinary care — vaccines, heartworm prevention, spay/neuter, and treatment for illness or injury.
We provide behavioral rehabilitation and training when needed, and emergency care without reservation. Dogs come to us from shelters or surrendering families across Texas, and their medical needs vary widely — from simple wellness care to complex treatment for cancer, parvo, distemper, or heartworm.
All donations and fundraisers go to cover the expenses of their care from the moment they arrive until the day they go home.
A safe place to land
Every dog that comes into WRT is placed in a loving foster home where they can decompress, learn to trust, and show their personality to prospective adopters.
Weimaraners are a deeply social breed — they don't do well in kennels, and they don't show their true selves under stress. Foster homes give them the space and stability to become the dogs they really are, which is ultimately what finds them the right family.
Unique to WRT is our forever foster program. Dogs with terminal ailments come into rescue labeled as forever fosters — they live in one home with all costs completely covered by WRT for their remaining days. We love our forever fosters and spare no expense on their comfort.
