Your gift is sincerely appreciated
None of what we do is possible without you. Every dollar donated — and every hour volunteered — goes directly toward the care of Weimaraners who have nowhere else to turn. From the moment a dog comes into our program to the day they walk into their forever home, it's your generosity that makes it happen. Thank you.

Where your donation goes
Weimaraner Rescue of Texas operates 100% on donations and volunteering from generous people who want to make a difference in the lives of these dogs. Donations pay for veterinary care, training, and essential supplies.
While the largest expense is veterinary care and behavioral rehabilitation, the rescue also pays for supplies such as collars, leashes, microchips, heartworm preventative, and flea and tick preventative. Volunteers provide foster care, transportation, adoption and foster application processing, incoming coordination, and help with outreach and fundraising in the community.
Keeping them healthy from day one
Every dog that enters our program receives vaccines, heartworm prevention, and flea and tick preventatives from the moment they arrive — regardless of their history or condition coming in.
We cover all necessary expenses
We cover spay and neuter, costs to restore function, and treatment for serious diseases including cancer, parvo, distemper, and heartworm. If a dog needs it, we find a way to make it happen.
Training them for their forever home
Many dogs arrive with behavioral challenges from neglect or instability. When necessary to help dogs become adoptable, we invest in professional rehabilitation and training so they can succeed in a new home.
There when it matters most
Emergencies don't wait. When a dog in our care needs urgent intervention — whether it's a trauma, a sudden illness, or a crisis that couldn't be anticipated — we act immediately and cover the cost.
