Wendy
Wendy aka Wonky Wendy is a 9 year old female that has been diagnosed with Cervical Spondylomyelopathy, Wobbler Syndrome, which is a disease of the neck, cervical spine, that is sometimes common to large breed dogs. Wendy is of the age and degree of disease that her best life is best served with a loving home that can help her medically, physically, and mentally.
Wendy’s Furever Foster, Mary Margaret and Paul, report that “Wendy is so adorable and deals with Wobbler’s as best she can. She walks on the top and bottoms of her feet and does the splits quite often if she moves too fast….Wendy’s legs get very stiff at time and I have to massage them and she relaxes then.” Wendy loves to run in the backyard when she can, snuggle up on the couch with Paul, get treats and food with her Furmates, Mr. Winston and Zoey. They all snuggle up together. “Wendy also stands up and pivots on her front feet so she can see everything without taking a step.”
Mary Margaret and Paul just love her and they know she is happy even with her disabilities. Wendy has a tough road ahead of her but we know she will be well taken care of and loved.
