WRT was notified about a weim family on 9/8 that was being turned into a North Texas shelter. One of our fabulous volunteers jumped into action and went to save Jacob and Princess along with their 8 puppies. Puppies are now 6 weeks old and are doing great! There are 5 boys and 3 girls. We did have an emergency baby shower for the foster to get some of the supplies needed to take care for such a large family. Now it is time to offer a sponsorship to help cover the vetting of the puppies and vet care for Momma Princess. Two of the female puppies are already named and pending adoption but the foster graciously has offered sponsorships for naming the 6 remaining puppies. Also, Princess will be needing a foster home to decompress and go through heartworm treatment, so please let us know if you are able to foster her.
